A four-part, three-hour workshop covering the Basic Reality Check, Milestone Mapping, Skills Charting, and Resume Analysis.  Appointment necessary - For individuals and groups.

Discovering U in Your ResUme Workshop Series $350

Resume Analysis

• Existing resumes are analyzed to make the individual “…look as good on paper as they do in person”.

Reality Check

• An exercise to help individuals chart their current situation, what they hope to achieve and what they absolutely do not want in their job or career plans.

Skills Charting

• Past and present work experience are examined for specific skills the individual has acquired and are then charted to be easily referenced in preparation for interviews.

Milestone Mapping

• Specific accomplishments in the individuals' education and work experiences are mapped to pinpoint value.  Milestone Maps provide a basis for highlighting achievements during conversations and interviews.

Interview Coaching

• Sessions with individuals and/or groups desiring to refine and polish their presentation skills involve what-if and what-next scenarios and role-playing exercises.

Professional Image Management – 1-2 sessions

• Interpreting an individual's personal style into an acceptable on-the-job wardrobe.  Prepares individuals to “look good” during interviews, presentations, and career and lifestyle transformations by helping them create a user-friendly, comfortable mix of conservative/corporate or chic casual styles for work.
• Prepares individuals to transition from one industry to another by selecting appropriate for new work environments as in:  uniforms to corporate or casual to corporate, corporate to creative, and vice versa.  Introduces budgeting, wardrobe money management, and creating a just-right work wardrobe

Career Business Plan

• Prepares individuals with choices as possible career paths.  Based on the individual's experience, skills and desires. Can be used as a reference guide when completing job applications and preparing application essays. 

Pre-requirements for charting a Career Business Plan are:

• Resume Analysis
• Basic Reality Check
• Skills Charting

Once an individual meets the requirements, the information is reformatted into a possible career path for developing a CBP.
