Career-Wise Ways ... Not Just A Job-But A Career ®

2013

The beginning of a new year give us time to wind down the celebrations and reflect on activities of the year that has just passed.

Personally for me, the 33 days between Thanksgiving and New Year’s drive me into holiday overdrive.  Even more than revving up for holiday cheer, I am happy when all the cheering is done.  I welcome the newness of the New Year and the exciting expectations of the unknown, which brings the desire to do “it” all over again and even better this time around.

If any one of you is recovering from any type of setback experienced in the last 12 months or so, CWW invites you to check out the “Coping” article which was first written and published 13 years ago, when I was experiencing a setback of my own.

I started writing the article as I was coming to the end of an assignment.  Things were going so well, after what started out as an enthusiastic career move, but turned into a career fiasco, that I just had to write about the experience.  What evolved were some disciplines and truths that became defining moments of growth for me.

As a matter of fact, I have been told the experiences described in the article are transferable to several types of losses and setbacks.  Some individuals told me the article helped them rein in out-of-control behavior that was damaging their jobs and relationships.  Several others refer to it as the “Coping” article, which CWW favors very highly.

So, the question of the moment, is “What is your new normal"?

We thank you for keeping up with us and, we wish you “CWW Career-Wise Ways…!” in all that you do!!

Inspirationally yours,
